Effective from February 23rd, 2024, our clinic has implemented an updated Cancellation Policy to ensure that all clients and our community have ample opportunities for treatment. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in providing sufficient notice for cancellations, allowing us to offer timely care to those in need. To avoid a cancellation fee, please contact us on 0456 730 768 at least 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment.
Cancellation Fees
Late cancellations adversely affect multiple parties involved: yourself, as it delays your therapy progress; another individual on our waitlist seeking treatment; and your psychologist, who has reserved and prepared for your session. These timeframes exclude weekends and public holidays. Please ensure to provide the appropriate number of business days’ notice. Cancellation fees are settled via direct debit, using the card information provided on our consent form. Rest assured, this information is securely stored in our client management system and will only be used for cancellation fees unless otherwise arranged. Upon payment, a receipt will be promptly emailed to you.
The current APS (Australian Psychological Society) recommended cancellation fees for psychologists are as follows:
- 0-24 hours’ notice: Full fee
- 24-48 hours’ notice: 50% of fee
- 48 hours – 7 days’ notice: 25% of fee
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our Cancellation Policy as we strive to provide the best possible care to all our clients and the community.
