Meet Our Team
Bear in Mind Psychology is a small team of psychologists based on the Sunshine Coast. Every clinician on our team holds postgraduate qualifications in psychology, is registered with AHPRA, and brings extensive experience supporting everyone who walks through our door.
We work with children, adolescents, and adults, and we take the time to get to know every client and family we see. Whether you're a parent looking for answers about your child's development, a teenager navigating a tough patch, or an adult seeking support or a long-overdue assessment, you'll be working with someone who genuinely cares about what they do.
What Our Team Brings
Our psychologists share a few things in common: they're evidence-based in their approach, warm and down-to-earth in the room, and committed to making psychology feel accessible rather than intimidating. We draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, play-based therapy, and strengths-based frameworks and tailor our work to the person, not the textbook.
We also value collaboration. That means working closely with families, schools, GPs, and other professionals to make sure the support we provide translates into real-world outcomes.
Our Areas of Focus
Between us, our team covers a broad range of areas, including:
- ADHD assessment and support (children, teens, and adults)
- Autism assessment and neurodiversity-affirming practice
- Learning difficulties, including dyslexia and dyscalculia
